Summary

Overview

A fictional direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand selling “tactical gear for cats.” Built as a portfolio piece to showcase Webflow design and development — including CMS-driven products, a full shopping cart, and product detail flows. The site opens with a disclaimer modal making clear these are not real products.

The Challenge

Problem

Portfolio sites often show static landing pages but not a full e-commerce experience. I needed a piece that demonstrated end-to-end DTC UX — product discovery, detail pages, cart, and checkout — without relying on a real client or inventory.

The Build

Solution

Designed and built a complete fictional brand in Webflow with CMS-backed products, e-commerce cart/checkout, and polished brand copy. The playful military-cat theme keeps it memorable while the underlying build shows real storefront patterns: dynamic pricing, SKU variants, related products, and multi-page navigation (Home, Shop, About, Contact, FAQ).

Key Features

What I Built

  • CMS-driven product catalog with variants (size, color) and pricing
  • Right-sidebar shopping cart with quantity controls and checkout flow
  • Product detail pages with related products, size guide, and sale/compare-at pricing
  • Shop page with category filtering and search
  • Homepage product carousels and featured/best-selling sections
  • About page with brand storytelling and testimonials
  • Disclaimer modal on first visit clarifying this is a portfolio piece
  • Responsive layout with Lottie-animated search and navigation interactions
